If an overweight person is on a plane and takes up two seats ?

-Should they have to pay for both seats if they take up that much room or get charged as an single person because its not fair some other person should be kicked off the plane because that person takes up two seats.

I believe yes that is costing the airlines money and another person a seat so let them pay for it .They do have to pay for a larger seat because it costs money. Usually it does not cost the price of two seats since most airlines are not able to fill their planes to capacity anyway. The air lines do have the right to charge the overweight person for the second seat. That decision was set by the courts in 2008. The airlines also have the right to refuse the boarding of the overweight person if their size infringes on someone elses boarding.
The seat weight does n;t really mean you get 2 seats, There is a FAA regulation that lists the Average weight @ 175 # , this is a needed weight for fuel and balance equations.
RAre to find people that big.. But if they have a health condition from birth that made them overweight, then they shouldn't be charged. If it was their fault, then yes.
