-Which airline in Alaska/Canada is the best to fly for (Bush Flying)I think the one I work for is the best, but I'm biased. All our pilots have thousands of hours of experience in Alaska and in float planes. Minimum new-hire requirements are 3000 hours total time, 1500 hours seaplane, 500 hours Alaska or equivalent and 200 hours turbine experience. Not all companies that operate in the bush have such high minimum requirements, but the best ones do. If you are a low time pilot with no bush flying experience, the best company to work for is the one that will hire you. Most require a minimum of 1000 hours and experience in the type of aircraft they fly. A typical entry-level job is flying a Cessna 206 or 207, or a Cherokee Six on wheels. If you want to fly in Alaska, you need FAA certificates and the legal right to work in the USA. If you wish to fly in Canada, you need CAA certificates and the legal right to work in Canada, Few pilots have both.Whatever one is cheaper.
Alaska Airlines, West Jet, Air Canada
one where the pilot isn't drunk
